She is dead on…I’ve used this stretch along with about four others and they work…BUT…if your back is in pain it may take several of these a day over several days. I have two herniated disc problems and they, in turn, aggravate the nerve. I also have degenerative bone problems so I know what I’m talking about (unfortunately.) I have also found that using a combination of Skelaxin and Hydrocodoyne brings almost instant relief BUT be careful..one is a narcotic.

    i definitely feel you
so ill give you sum tips bro
many times we have low back pain and the problem isnt even there, like in my case , so try getting a program to re-align your whole body.
so go out to costco or somewhere and get glucosamine and chondroitin or there r sum pills called celadrin they say are great
and start stretching your back alittle bit then gluts( for piroformis, sciatica.) ,calfs, shins, hamstrings, quads. stop if it hurts and never go to chiropractors

I’ll do this stretch and get back with feedback – hopefully will really help my back pain – I sit in the office 8/9 hours a day so… you can take the conclusion. :)

That’s a really cool looking mat! Those G2 Back Stretch mats are pretty neat too, since they have those self guiding pictures on them.

I tried chiropracty, massage, epidurals, exercise, etc. If you have low back pain, mid-back pain, or whatever it may be, there is a really great read called “Healing Back Pain” by Dr. John Sarno. It conveys the most Responsible Content on the matter that I have ever come across and is NOT “about” anatomy in general. You can google his name they probably have the book at your local library. P.S. I’ve had 2 discectomies in the past – didn’t know better, and…yeah, it’s a really worthwhile read.
